Colinton Village Enterprise (CVE) is partway through a Community Asset Transfer from The City of Edinburgh Council, allowing us to purchase the historic outbuilding in Spylaw Park known locally as The Shed.
We are delighted to announce that CVE's Stage One application to the Scottish Land Fund for development funding was successful. This award allows us to commission an Architectural Feasibility Study which will provide us with detailed costing estimates for our proposals to refurbish and develop this building into a Community Heritage Hub.
Having conducted a tender process, we can further announce that we have now appointed local Colinton resident David Moore of MDA Studio to carry out this work.
